I was in a workshop yesterday on “Finding Your Eternal Companion”, and the presenter said what is certainly oneĀ of the most profound things I had ever heard about dating and marriage:
Finding your eternal companion is more about finding yourself than finding the eternal companion.
This is absolutely true.
Was your eternal companion in the room? I mean those things aren’t really for LISTENING to are they? Really you shoul just be looking around the room and seeing who else is really wanting to get married and going for the cute ones right? It’s just a way of non-uncomfortably finding out , “who is ready to get married, and who is just in a singles ward cause they don’t belong in the married one?”
