This year’s finale was certainly no disappointment! They pulled out some incredible acts.
Sorry for the delay, but I was actually flying over these fair United States last night, and had to watch the Finale later due to my little brother graduating from High School. (Good job Ty!)

Well, tonight’s Idol finale was… well… anti-climactic for me. Ever since the Top 36, we’ve all just wondered who was going to be in this episode with Adam Lambert…
The judges certainly made no bones about who they were supporting all year. Paula basically did everything but tattoo his name to her forehead. Kara painted her fingernails black – I wonder who she’s voting for…
Enough about them, though. Let’s get to the Idols…

Tonight just wasn’t as good as I’d thought it would be. In years past, the show where the contestants and judges got the most freedom to pick songs has proved to be the most innovative and unexpected. This year? It was just… more of the same crap…
Ok. Quick story about last night’s American Idol…
Glad I’m not the only one in America who realizes that he isn’t God’s sole gift to music…
Being the only contestant EVER who was smug enough to actually “pick” between two groups of contestants (without a second thought), made this moment even more PRICELESS….
(holy crap… we beat out the emo-eyeliner-boy and the tweener? amazing!!)

What a night! Disco is alive and well… at least for those who did disco…
I think it’s kind of cheap that people get to toally remake the songs into a different style. Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of having a particular style every week? I don’t know… I could go either way on this.
