When the Space Shuttle undocked from the ISS earlier this month, they had to jettison their waste water before reentering earth.
At least when the space shuttle pees, it creates a beautiful celestial event.

Here we go….
Go Cougars!!!
It has finally happened, my friends. After 3+ months of marriage, my wife has discovered my first personality flaw.
And it is…
The Dining Room table saga continues…
Yesterday I saw a sign in our neighborhood advertising a furniture clearance at the model home in our neighborhood, so this morning I went to check it out. It was a mad-house! They had 3 tables there, but the one in the formal dining room I totally fell in love with.
And of course… it was sold and paid for already.
Our wedding pictures have finally arrived! They were postmarked on April 6, but for some reason didn’t arrive until Saturday. Ugh. I guess the government was making sure the DVD was anthrax free, or better yet – scanned it for the plans to the Death Star.
Without further ado…
As my wife has mentioned in other nooks and crannies of the interwebs, I have mostly taken the lead in the cooking portion of our marriage. I’m not that great of a cook, but I know my way around a kitchen and can follow a recipe.
I do grill a mean steak, though. This is one thing Texas has given me. (Thank you, Texas)
Saturday, we spent ALL afternoon shopping for tables. We went to Ashley, Rooms to Go, The Room Store, Furniture Liquidators, Thomasville, and Haverty’s. We found two or three tables we really liked, but don’t know if we found ‘the one’ just yet.
Here’s what we found:
We got a lot of GREAT cards for our wedding, and have been enjoying them on display for the last several months. Well, they were starting to clutter up our lives, and we definitely needed to figure out what to do with them.
As we went back through them, we realized that there were some notable cards that we just had to share with everyone. So here are a few “made up” awards: (click on the cards if you want to see more detail)
As a continuation of the non-traditional wedding items post from last Thursday… I have to mention our Guest Book.
Rather than having a guest book that was a conglomeration of lines and signatures (that we’d definitely never look through again), we decided to get a coffee table book, something that represented us, and have people sign in the margins… “yearbook” style.
Some people might have been confused by this, but others really got into it!
